Microgrid Pathway 2024 Highlights
Attendees explored over 40 sessions focused on the future of microgrids, gaining valuable insights into design, deployment, and management. From advancements in DC power systems to real-world case studies on microgrid implementation, these sessions provided expert knowledge for future leaders and industry professionals.
Dozens of microgrid companies also exhibited, showcasing their cutting-edge solutions and innovations. Participants had the chance to enhance their technical expertise, discover new market opportunities, and connect with pioneers shaping the future of resilient, sustainable energy solutions.
The Grid Edge Theater at RE+ had two incredible live microgrid demonstrations featuring cutting-edge technologies, including high-performance DC-coupled power conversion and management, AC/DC and Fault Managed Power, and PoE LVDC load management. Key highlights included a DC microgrid design by Direct Energy Partners, a Trane DC-coupled heat pump, Sinclair Digital’s AGILE-CORE intelligent building demo, and Enteligent’s Direct DC-coupled EV Charger. Block Energy’s front-of-the-meter energy platform, DG Matrix’s DC EV Fast Charger, and Savant Power’s storage system were other innovations showcased. The Marriott Outdoor Pavilion also wowed attendees with solar-powered EV charging demonstrations using Sun Action Tracker and Enteligent’s DC-coupled EV charger.
