AEG RE+ 24 Action Challenge: Energy, Health & Equity
This was a half-day workshop by Advanced Energy Group. Groups collaboratively identified a critical obstacle preventing a breakthrough impact regarding energy, health, and equity in priority Anaheim communities; worked as teams to pitch a 12-month solution; and stood up a volunteer Task Force committed to delivering the solution in 12 months and presenting the outcome at RE+ 25 in Las Vegas.
American-Made Program
The U.S. Department of Energy’s American-Made program incentivizes innovation through prizes, training, teaming, and mentoring by connecting the nation’s entrepreneurs and innovators to America’s national labs and the private sector. During RE+ 24, prize administrators from the U.S. Department of Energy and National Renewable Energy Laboratory hosted events highlighting American-Made Challenges, including the Solar Prize Round 7 grand finale.
Clean Energy Job Fair
GRID Alternatives and Women of Renewable Industries and Sustainable Energy (WRISE) team up with RE+, the nation’s largest clean energy trade show, to meet companies seeking workers with diverse expertise and transferable skills to work in a rapidly growing clean energy industry.

The GWAC Symposium 2024 brought together industry leaders to discuss the benefits and challenges of architecting, managing and operating electric power systems with the widespread adoption of distributed energy resources.
Horizon Hydrogen Grand Prix
Horizon Educational hosts the Horizon Hydrogen Grand Prix (H2GP) series, in which students from around the globe construct, design, and race model fuel cell-powered cars, gaining vital skills in renewable energy. Their 2024 H2GP World Final brought the top 60 teams from around the globe to compete for a chance to be crowned World Champion.

The Solar – Made in the USA summit provided a platform for all stakeholders, from currently active to those looking into solar manufacturing in the US, all towards the goal of creating a competitive solar industry that supports resilience and energy security.

Tribal Clean Energy Symposium at RE+
The Tribal Clean Energy Technology Symposium at RE+ 2024 brought together Tribal leaders, energy developers, service providers, and federal and NGO clean energy experts to explore vital issues related to a just transition. Professionally facilitated, this immersive one-day event featured informative sessions, case studies, and dialogue on respectful, equitable, and profitable partnerships with tribes to develop clean energy projects of all sizes and technologies.
